| 1. NO GLASS IS ALLOWED IN THE POOL AREA! Please make every attempt to bring food and/or beverages in only plastic containers. If you do not have a plastic container please ask the Pool Manager for assistance! 2. SMOKING is NOT permitted in the pool area. Smokers, 18years and older, must go to the parking area, atleast 25 feet from the entrance before smoking. 3. Alcohol may be brought to and consumed on Pool property. No glass containers of any kind are permitted in the pool area. Discretion is advised and expected! "Drink responsibly!" 4. All commonly recognized rules of sanitation, health and safety shall be observed. Admission to the pool may be refused with any obivious illness i.e. inflamed eyes, infections, or wearing of bandages. 5. There will be NO: a. Running b. Pushing c. Wrestling d. Horeplay 6. Parents are asked to keep children from walking on the retaining wall as well as climbing trees and fences. 7. Only one person on diving board at one time. 8. The pool will not be opened should outside temepature be below 70 degrees. During inclement weather, a message will be posted on the Pool's telephone, 434-8441, with details. Should inclement weather remain in the area past 7:00pm, the Pool will remain closed for the remainder of the day. **This includes any scheduled parties or social events.** 9. Children under the age of 9 years old MUST be accompanied by a parent, guardian, or authorized person, 15 years of age or older. 10. Children 9 years and older may be allowed to enter the pool area alone ONLY after: a. Passing a swimming test. b. Provide emergency contact and telephone number. c. Parental approval, signed copy of "Pool Rules and Regulations." 11. Use of the baby pool shall be limited to children 4 years of age and younger. No metal or rigid plastic toys shall be permitted in the baby pool. Supervision of these children is the responsibility of the accompanying adult member. 12. Waterproof swimming diapers are MANDATORY in both pools. These are available at the Guard office for a small fee 13. A ten (10) minute rest period is schedule every hour of free swim. Children under the age of 18 must remain one block away from the pool. "ONLY" those 18 years and older are allowed to swim. 14. Loungers and lawnchairchairs are for Adult, 18 years and older, use only. |
